Brussels, 04/10/2011 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament visitors' centre is to open its doors to the public on Friday 14 October, at 10.00am. The “Parlamentarium” will be the largest parliamentary visitors' centre in Europe. Visitors will be able to interact with political officials using interactive multimedia screens, or take a virtual trip across Europe, discovering as they go what the European Union has brought to the different countries, and what the role of the European Parliament is. The EP exhibition is the first to be presented in all 23 languages. The Parlamentarium also provides a role-playing game for secondary school pupils. Players take the place of an MEP and go through all the necessary stages for a European law to be adopted. The game is for 14-16 year old students, with 32 participants each game session.
