On Wednesday 7 September, the European Commission gave its green light to a planned merger whereby Rexnord LLC (United States), which belongs to the Apollo Group (United States), plans to take sole control of the company VAG Holding GmbH (Germany). Rexnord is a company which specialises in the supply of process command products and water management products and movements. The Apollo group specialises in the provision of portfolio investments.
