The European Commission granted clearance on 27 July to the acquisition by the Blackstone Group (global asset manager and provider of financial advisory services) of sole control of the whole of Stargazer (outdoor clothing, footwear and equipment) and its subsidiaries, including its operating subsidiary Jack Wolfskin.
