19/07/2011 (Agence Europe) - France hosts 67th session of European Youth Parliament. Three hundred young people from 34 European countries have met in Grenoble for the 67th European Youth Parliament, which opened in Villard de Lans last week, with specialised working groups. It will end on Sunday 24 July in Lyons, with its plenary assembly. During the first part of the week, from Monday 18 to Thursday 21 July, preparatory discussions will unfold in Grenoble, where the young participants will discuss the various subjects tackled during the working groups and will draft a motion to be put to the Assembly. The main theme of this parliament is to involve young people in society. All debates on Thursday will be devoted to this. Other subjects, however, which are key to European integration, will be covered, ranging from immigration to industrial policy and also touching on the economy and finance and the new European budgetary framework.
