Brussels, 16/06/2011 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 16 June, the European Parliament civil liberties committee (LIBE) adopted, by a majority of 43 votes to three, with one abstention, the draft report by Carlos Coelho (EPP, Portugal) on the creation of an Agency for the operational management of large-scale information technology (IT) systems in the area of freedom, security and justice, after political agreement was reached among home affairs ministers in Luxembourg on 9 June.
