16/06/2011 (Agence Europe) - Loan for renewable energy in Chile. On Wednesday 15 June, the European Investment Bank (EIB) granted a US$82 million loan to Eólica Monte Redondo - a subsidiary of IPR-GDF SUEZ - to finance construction of the Laja run-of-river hydropower plant, some 450 kilometres south of Santiago de Chile.
