On 27 May, the European Commission cleared the proposed acquisition by German company ArcelorMittal Bremen Gmbh, a subsidiary of the Luxembourg steel group ArcelorMittal S.A., of direct control of Kokerei Prosper, a German producer of coke and coke by-products, by way of purchase of assets.
