Van Rompuy calls for human rights and Tibet to be raised

Brussels, 13/05/2011 (Agence Europe) - Herman Van Rompuy will be in China next week (15-18 May). While there, the president of the European Council will meet, inter alia, President Hu Jintao and Prime Minister Wen Jiabao (17 May), as well as Vice-President Xi Jinping (18 may) in Beijing. EU-China strategic relations, preparations for the next bilateral summit, as well as international policy issues will be on the agenda of their talks.
