Brussels, 12/05/2011 (Agence Europe) - On 11 May, the German secretary of state at the foreign ministry, Werner Hoyer, said that in the upcoming negotiations on the EU's multiannual financial framework for 2014-2020 (the EU budget), Germany will negotiate to reduce its net contribution to the European Union or at least to ensure that it is no higher than at present.
