Brussels, 31/03/2011 (Agence Europe) - Registration opened for the 3rd EU Health Prize for Journalists on Wednesday 30 March, the European Commission has announced. The prize aims to heighten the general public's awareness of health issues by showcasing the talents of the best health journalists from across the 27 member states. For the third year running, the theme of the prize is “Europe for Patients” and will this year include the topic of pharmaceuticals. First, second and third prizes this year will be awarded to those who have written an article that best highlights the health dangers of tobacco. Registrations must be made by 24 July 2011.
