Brussels, 17/02/2011 (Agence Europe) - The heads of the national bureaux of the European programme Youth on the Move met in Budapest from 8 - 11 February to discuss the new programme, under the Hungarian Presidency. By the end of the meeting, the attendees had put together two recommendations to develop the European youth support system, in the framework of the new generation of programmes post-2013. The first recommendation concerns activities which will be financed by the youth programmes and their implementation. The second focuses on administrative simplification and making good use of the funding allocated. The Commission has always been involved in the discussions underway with the parties concerned regarding the new programme, the Hungarian Presidency stresses. As regards the future adjudication system, the beneficiaries of the programme have already had the opportunity to put forward their recommendations as part of online European consultation.
