On Thursday 10 February, the EU management committee authorised the resale of 381,041 tonnes of intervention cereals on the Community market. This quantity is made up entirely of barley (with 163,944 tonnes from Germany and 177,336 tonnes from Finnish stocks), with minimum tendered prices ranging from €180.18 per tonne in Finland to €204/t in the Czech Republic. There has been no resale of soft wheat as stocks have been exhausted. Invitations to tender have been opened on 2.7 million tonnes of barley and 88,000 tonnes of wheat.
