08/12/2010 (Agence Europe) - European Globalisation adjustment Fund (EGF). The European Commission has made payments to Denmark, Spain and the Netherlands from the EGF. The total amount of €13.8 million will help 2,161 workers who had been made redundant back into work. The sectors affected are manufacture of machinery and equipment (Denmark), textile production (Spain) and semiconductors (Netherlands) (see EUROPE 10193, 10199 and 10204). (G.B./transl.rt)
