Brussels, 22/11/2010 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 22 November, the EU Council of Ministers adopted a decision on the mobilisation of EU solidarity funds. Ireland will receive €13 million in commitment and payment appropriations following the serious flooding in the country in 2009 (see EUROPE 10225). The Council adopted its position on draft amending budget no 8 for 2010. It remains now for the European Parliament to give its view in plenary session in Strasbourg on Tuesday 23 November....
