Van Rompuy writes to Rousseff calling for closer relations

Brussels, 03/11/2010 (Agence Europe) - The president of the European Council, Herman Van Rompuy, sent a telegram of congratulations to the Brazilian president-elect Dilma Rousseff. In his message Van Rompuy says he is confident that the support she obtained from the Brazilian people will provide her with the necessary energy for tackling the challenges and responsibilities her country now has to face.
