06/10/2010 (Agence Europe) - Hailing the 3 October 2010 elections in Bosnia Herzegovina, EU High Representative and Vice-President of the European Commission Catherine Ashton called on the country's new leaders to enter 'constructive dialogue'. In a press release published on Tuesday 5 October, Ashton calls for greater efforts to implement institutional reforms in Bosnia Herzegovina and for true progress in meeting the European integration requirements. She explained that the EU reiterates its combined commitment to Bosnia Herzegovina's prospects of joining the European Union in the future and will continue to support moves in this direction. 'The EU is prepared to cooperate' with anyone committed to 'put Bosnia Herzegovina on the road to the EU'. (A.By.)
