EU helps set up Palestinian police force to look after tourists

Brussels, 06/10/2010 (Agence Europe) - Experts from the EU police mission in the Palestinian Territories (EUPOL COPPS) held their first working meeting on Wednesday 6 October 2010 with their counterparts from the Palestinian police force with a view to setting up a police unit responsible for tourism issues in Palestine. The first recommendations describe the resources and capabilities of the new arm of the Palestinian police force and are expected to be submitted by the working group...
