Six Spanish cities pre-selected for title of European Capital of Culture 2016

Brussels, 05/10/2010 (Agence Europe) - The panel responsible for judging the cities which are candidates for the title of “European Capital of Culture 2016” met last week in Madrid. At the end of a fierce competition between 15 cities, it recommended that Burgos, Córdoba, Donostia-San Sebastián, Las Palmas (Gran Canaria), Segovia and Zaragoza be pre-selected for the 2016 title.
