05/10/2010 (Agence Europe) - Raimundas Karoblis is the new permanent representative of Lithuania to the EU. He takes over from Rytis Martikonis, who becomes the foreign affairs advisor to Prime Minister Andrius Kubilis. Amongst other positions, Karoblis was previously his country's ambassador to the WTO in Geneva. Since 2007, he has been employed by the Lithuanian permanent representation to the EU. (H.B./transl.fl)
