Giampiero Gramaglia, Managing Editor

Brussels, 04/10/2010 (Agence Europe) - With effect from Monday of this week, Giampiero Gramaglia will take up the post of Managing Editor of Agence Europe.

Lionel Changeur remains as the Editor and Benoît Cusin has been appointed to the post of Assistant Editor.

Mr Gramaglia is a former Editor in Chief of ANSA, the main Italian press agency. From the outset as a journalist, he has covered European affairs, initially as the Brussels correspondent of Turin daily Gazzetta del Popolo, and then as Head of the Brussels Office of ANSA, before becoming Head of the ANSA Office in the United States. In 2006, he was appointed ANSA Editor in Chief in Rome, a post he occupied until June 2009.

He continued to monitor European issues, as a commentator on television and radio, and for various press publications, before being appointed to lead the editorial team at Agence Europe. He will continue as Communications Adviser to the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI) and Secretary General of the European Press Club (EPC).
