Germany to take in Guantanamo detainees

Brussels, 31/05/2010 (Agence Europe) - After a long period of hesitation, Germany has finally agreed to take in detainees from the EU Guantanamo prison camp. Last weekend German Home Affairs Minister Thomas de Maisière said that Chancellor Angela Merkel wanted “to help the Americans” on this issue, the magazine Focus reports.
