Young people must be at heart of European recovery strategy

Brussels, 11/05/2010 (Agence Europe) - In the afternoon of Tuesday 11 May, the Council had an exchange of views on developing the youth dimension of the EU 2020 strategy. “It is young Europeans who will be the players in the future,” stated Spanish Equality Minster Bibiana Aído Almagro. She said that youth policy had a cross-cutting component so that progress would have to be made on cooperation with other sectors.
