11/05/2010 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 11 May, the EU Council of Ministers adopted a decision authorising the European Commission to open negotiations on behalf of the European Union on the renewal of the Protocol to the Fisheries Partnership Agreement with Comoros. The existing Protocol came into force on 1 January 2005 and is due to expire on 31 December 2010. The Commission, therefore, wishes to begin talks in the coming days. (L.C./transl.rt)
