Green MEP Michèle Rivasi accuses France of favouring EDF in monopoly on electricity generation in Corsica

Brussels, 03/05/2010 (Agence Europe) - In a press release, issued on 3 May, French Green MEP Michèle Rivasi accuses France of favouring energy group EDF in its monopoly on electricity generation in Corsica. Article 26 of Directive 2003/54/EC recognises peculiarities in the electricity market in small isolated grids (non-interconnected areas).
