Special Council meeting to speed up introduction of Single European Sky

Brussels, 23/04/2010 (Agence Europe) - On Friday 23 April, the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the EU and the European Commission decided to convene a special meeting of EU transport ministers in order to encourage the introduction of a Single European Sky following the recent travel chaos caused by airspace being closed due to clouds of volcanic ash, explained the Spanish public transport minister José Blanco López in Madrid on Friday.
