Brussels, 20/04/2010 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 19 April, the European Commission adopted a decision which will oblige all EU countries, from May 2011, to use a European databank for medical devices. The “Euramed” databank is a secure web-based portal which will allow national authorities to exchange information rapidly. In a press release, the Commission says that it is already being used on a voluntary basis by a number of EU countries.
