Political agreement on directive to promote electronic invoicing for VAT statements

Brussels, 16/03/2010 (Agence Europe) - Despite reticence on the part of the Netherlands, European finance ministers reached an unanimous political agreement on Tuesday 16 March on the proposal for a directive aimed at promoting the use of electronic invoicing for value added tax (VAT) statements (EUROPE 9828).
