Jerzy Buzek calls upon Israelis and Palestinians to relaunch peace talks

Brussels, 15/03/2010 (Agence Europe) - At the plenary meeting of the Euro-Mediterranean Parliamentary Assembly (EMPA) he attended in Amman, Jordan, on 13 and 14 March 2010, President of the European Parliament Jerzy Buzek called for the resumption of negotiations between Israel and Palestine.

"There is no alternative to peace talks. Both sides must get back to the negotiating table as soon as possible", he explained in a press release, reiterating that the EP strongly supports the two-state...
