Brussels, 12/03/2010 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 11 March, the European Parliament expressed its support for the Mexican government “in its determination to combat organised drug trafficking”, but said it was deeply concerned at the increase in violence due to drug trafficking and the lack of respect for any form of authority, and the sense of impunity displayed by the drugs cartels, in particular in the Mexican states laying close to the US border.
