Pressure on laggard member states to transpose Services Directive

Brussels, 02/03/2010 (Agence Europe) - The - Competitiveness Council on Monday 1 March paid great attention to a progress report published by the European Commission on transposition of the EU Directive 2006/112/EC on services in the Internal Market that was supposed to come into force in all Member States' legal systems on 31 December 2009 (see EUROPE 10088).
