Commission approves proposed acquisition of Ensys by RWE, Capiton and Gothaer

Brussels, 16/12/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 15 December, the European Commission authorised the proposed acquisition of joint control of the German company Ensys by a wholly-owned subsidiary of RWE (Süwag), Capiton AG and Gothaer Versicherungsbank VVaG, which are also German companies. RWE is mainly active as a supplier of electricity and natural gas. Capiton is a private investment company and Gothaer an insurance company.
