24/11/2009 (Agence Europe) - During their next meeting on 1 December, eurozone finance ministers may confirm Jean-Claude Juncker as the president of Eurogroup. Mr Juncker's third mandate as Luxembourg prime minister and finance minister expires on 31 December 2010 but entry into force of the Lisbon Treaty (1 December) may mean that the Eurogroup will take on a president according to the new rules that provide for a mandate of two and a half years (compared to the current two years).
