Brussels, 16/11/2009 (Agence Europe) - In October, the annual inflation rate in the eurozone stood at -0.1%, compared to -0.3% in September and 3.2% in the same period of the year 2008, according to data published on Monday 16 November by Eurostat. The monthly inflation rate was 0.2%. In the EU27, the annual inflation rate was 0.5% in October 2009, compared to 0.3% in September and 3.7% one year previously. The monthly inflation rate in October 2009 was 0.2%.
