10/11/2009 (Agence Europe) - The debate on policy guidelines concerning the course to follow for application of VAT to postal services was withdrawn from the agenda of the Ecofin Council on Tuesday 10 November. No agreement could be envisaged on the basis of the compromise presented by the Swedish Presidency. The aim is to reach a compromise by June 2010. (A.B./transl.jl)
