Brussels, 09/11/2009 (Agence Europe) - The association Euromed Heritage, a programme funded by the European Union, is hosting a regional workshop on Monday 9 November and for three days on "Preventing and fighting illicit traffic of cultural property". The aim is to initiate a bottom-up approach to safeguarding Mediterranean heritage, by "improving the legislation on cultural property in the Mediterranean region and improving its safekeeping".
