28/10/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 26 October, without debate, the EU Council of Ministers adopted the negotiation document with a view to the ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organisation) conference devoted to alternative fuels (16-18 November 2009). The EU promotes the use of alternative fuels but only subject to well-defined sustainability criteria (see EUROPE 9994). (A.By./transl.jl)
