Proposals contained in draft budget review are grave mistake and unacceptable in this day and age

Brussels, 28/10/2009 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission's draft budget review continues to provoke a negative reaction (see EUROPE 10004). In their turn, seven leading politicians from member regions of the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions (CPMR) have published an open letter to President José Manuel Barroso, in which they “refuse to believe” that he could “agree to endorse a draft Communication of this kind”.
