23/10/2009 (Agence Europe) -Swedish Immigration MinisterTobias Billström announced on Friday 23 October that the EU would do "its best not to start a visa war" with Canada, after Ottawa decided to reinstate a visa obligation for Czech citizens. "We are at the stage of threatening" to reintroduce diplomatic and service passports for Canada, said European Commissioner Jacques Barrot, calling for the "solidarity" of the member states for the Czech Republic if Canada did not make any progress...
