23/04/2008 (Agence Europe) -The annual workshop held by the European Audiovisual Observatory as part of the Cannes Film Festival will this year be devoted to the Video on Demand (VOD) market, which is developing at an exceptional pace. The problem with the allocation of licences will be at the centre of discussions, as will an analysis of two major markets, France and the United Kingdom. The Observatory will also take this opportunity to publish the 11th edition of "Focus - World Film Market Trends". The event will take place on 18 May at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes. (I.L.)
