23/04/2008 (Agence Europe) - INRA, the French Institute for Agricultural Research will now have a permanent representative in Brussels. As Europe's largest agricultural research institute and the world's second largest, INRA says it backs the objective of making the EU “the world's most competitive and dynamic knowledge economy” (Lisbon objectives) and will contribute to the quest for excellence, European competitiveness and support for relevant common policies. The INRA representation in Brussels is within the CLORA, (Club des organismes de recherché associés/Club of Associated Research Bodies). CLORA's aim is to facilitate and enhance the involvement of French teams in European research activities and programmes.
