ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) banks

BNP PARIBAS PRIVATE BANK (private bank of BNP PARIBAS PRIVATE BANK; EUR 104 billion in client assets managed at the end of 2000 in 30 countries with some 3,000 employees) will open, this Tuesday 15 May an office in Brussels. Among the ten largest world actors in the field of private banking, BNP PARIBAS PRIVATE BANK will take charge of the management of personal fortunes under all its facets, mainly advice and personalised management. It will be characterised by: 1) a widened range of innovative financial products and services especially created for private clients; 2) an expertise in terms of the fortune engineering; 3) an integrated know-how for fortune investments. At the international level BNP PARIBAS PRIVATE BANK will continue its development by relying on a wide range of products and on investments in the fields of technology (processing operations, reporting, internet sites).
