04/05/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) is organising, this Monday 7 and Tuesday 8 May, in Brussels, a summary conference of the six seminars it held between 1996 and 2000 on trade union action on small and medium-sized enterprises (SME). A roundtable on "SMEs and social dialogue" will take place on 8 May with the participation of Commissioner Erkki Liikanen, the Deputy Secretary General of the ETUC Jean Lapeyre, the Director for Social Affairs in UNICE (European employers) Therese de Liedekerke and the UEAPME (craft - SME) Werner Muller.
