13/10/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 12 October 2009, the US House of Representatives passed the 2009 Travel Promotion Act stipulating that a USD10 tax will be levied on anyone entering the United State. The revenue will be used to promote tourism in the country. The draft law now returns to the Senate before being signed into law by President Barack Obama.
