18/09/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 16 September 2009, the European Commission authorised the buy-up of US veterinary medicines and research company Merial by French company Sanofi-Aventis, which develops and sells human vaccines and pharmaceuticals. The deal was examined using the simplified procedure. (C.D.)
