EP committee approves extension until end February 2010 of intervention purchases for butter and milk powder

Brussels, 03/09/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 2 September, the European Parliament agriculture committee gave its assent to the proposal (which dates from early July, see EUROPE 9938) aimed at prolonging the intervention period for butter and skimmed milk powder to after 31 August 2009 (until 28 February 2010).
