31/08/2009 (Agence Europe) - According to the flash estimate published by Eurostat on Monday 31 August, the general price level in the euro area fell by 0.2% in August. The annual euro aera inflation level was -0.7% in July, -0.1% in June and unchanged in May. (A.B./transl. rt)
