KDU-CSL (Christian Democrats): 2 MEPs in the EPP: Former Health Minister (1998), re-elected MEP Zuzana Roithová (doctor, aged 56), former vice-chair of the EP's Internal Market and Consumer Protection Committee; and re-elected MEP Jan Bøezina (mining engineer, aged 55).

DENMARK

The 4 SD MEPs (Social Democrats) are in the PASD: Re-elected MEP Dan Jørgensen (aged 33), deputy -chairman of the EP's Environment, Public Health and Food Security Committee, replacing former PES leader Poul Nyrup Rasmussen; re-elected MEP Britta Thomsen (formerly a consultant in European affairs, aged 54); re-elected MEP Christel Schaldemose (historian, aged 41); and re-elected MEP Ole Christensen (formerly a sports trainer and ironmonger, aged 53).

The 1 KF MEP (Conservative) is in the EPP: Bendt Bendtsen (aged 55), who recently resigned as Denmark's Trade and Industry Minister.

The 3 V Party MEPs (Liberals) are in the ALDE: Jens Rohde (aged 38), Morten Lokkegaard (aged 45) and Anne Jensen (aged 58).

The 2 SF MEPs (People's Socialist Party) are in The Greens /EFA: Re-elected MEP Margrethe Auken (pastor, aged 64), formerly Eurosceptic but now favouring EU integration (the SF opposes the CAP and Denmark joining the euro) and Emilie Turunen (aged 24).

The 2 DF MEPs are in the ELD (Europe for Liberty and Democracy): Anna Rosbach Andersen (aged 61) and Morten Messerschmidt (aged 28).

The 1 People's Movement against the EU MEP is in the GUE/NGL: Re-elected MEP Søren Bo Søndergaard (aged 53).

The 1 Indrek Tarand Independent List MEP is in The Greens: Indrek Tarand (aged 49), journalist and historian.

The 1 Reform Party MEP is in the ALDE: Kristiina Ojuland (aged 43), former Foreign Minister (2002-2004)
