Brussels, 15/06/2009 (Agence Europe) - At its plenary session in Brussels on 10 and 11 June, at the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) adopted four opinions on the safety of pharmaceutical products, highlighting patients' rights to easy access to full and reliable information on medicines, and more efficient pharmacoviligance. The Committee also calls for the free circulation of medicines and the completion of a single market in the pharmaceutical sector.
