27/05/2009 (Agence Europe) - For the second time in nine days, the headquarters of the European Commission in Brussels, the Berlaymont, has had to be evacuated after a hot water leak injured one person and set off the fire alarm. The alarm was raised on Wednesday 27 May just before 11.30am, as Commission President José Manuel Barroso was giving a press conference on financial supervision, thereby requiring some 2,000 people who work in the building to be evacuated.
