24/04/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 23 April, the European Parliament adopted, by a very large majority, the report by Jean-Paul Gauzès (EPP-ED, France), which introduces a registration and supervision system for the financial ratings agencies (EUROPE 9887). On the same day, the ambassadors of the member states to the EU gave their agreement to the compromise.
